Your story matters

La vie est faite de petits bonheurs

TIMELESS IMAGERY OF LIFE'S GREATEST MOMENTS
At Da Silva Portraits, we specialize in family and personal branding photography.

Together, we explore the vibrant locations of Singapore, Hong Kong, and France, creating artful and meaningful imagery that resonates with your heart.

My sessions are laid-back, allowing you to feel comfortable and let your personality and story shine. From the moment you reach out to me until the end of the photoshoot, I will guide you through the entire process. We’ll start with a pre-session consultation to discuss your vision and preferences, ensuring you feel confident and prepared for the shoot.

All the photos captured during the session are included, along with retouched high-resolution images, because your time matters.

About the studio
Da Silva is a name given by my husband's family heritage. This photography studio was created as a private gallery to document my daughter Emma da Silva's growth since her arrival in 2017.

Capturing each of Emma's milestones and creating an online photo gallery of her life is a gift that her dad and I wanted to give from the moment she was born, which is why we named it Da Silva Portraits.

We often look back at those photos with our families and friends together, sharing a variety of memories. We laugh, we chat, we teared, and we cherish how beautiful life is.
Behind the lens
Hello ! Bonjour

I am Thea, the owner of Da Silva Portraits.

With a background in Finance and over a decade of experience in the fast-paced environment of Hong Kong, I discovered a way to slow down and embrace my passion for photography behind the daily figuers and reports. The unique blend of finance and art are not only enriches my professional life but also fules my passion for exploration and personal expression.

My photography journey began at the age of three when I received my first film camera, a treasured gift from my grandfather. From that moment, photography became a vital part of my life. He taught me invaluable lessons—

from how to properly hold a camera to the patience needed for developing photos.

At 17, I acquired my first Canon EOS, which accompanied me through countless life stages and adventures across the globe, providing me with fresh perspectives on the world. I further honed my skills by enrolling in a photography academy in Paris, where I completed my professional training.

Though time passes quickly, the memories of my grandfather making me laugh behind his lens are still etched in my mind. Now, my daughter holds my camera just as I once did, fostering a beautiful continuity of our family tradition.
I aspire for our love of photography to be passed down to the next generation.

As the French say, "La vie est faite de petits bonheurs." Let’s cherish every moment with our loved ones and capture the memories that will last a lifetime.
